Frequently asked questions
-
Community Groups are comprised of people walking through the good, bad, and ugly of life while reminding one another of the gospel. Although community groups study the Bible together, in depth Bible study is not the primary focus of the group. Throughout the Bible, God worked primarily among groups of people. As we grow in love and care for one another, in the context of the local church, we show the world what it means to live in sacrificial gospel relationships.
Our groups focus on four practices: Participation - What is happening in our community that we can be a part of? Service - How can we serve inside and/or outside our church? Hospitality - How can we share meals and invite others into community? Fellowship - How will we practice Bible study, prayer, and care?

We love to welcome new people to Hope Church. Newcomers often want to visit Hope Church on a Sunday morning and consider whether Hope Church should be their church home. The next step in getting connected is becoming a part of a group. You need people alongside you, speaking truth into your life. Other people also need you as a friend, mentor, and brother/sister in Christ.
