Vision and Values
Our story
Jesus stated in Matthew 28:19-20 to 19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” The model that the disciples laid out for us to do that was by starting new churches and sending followers of Christ to all nations to start new churches. Are there a lot of churches in the Atlanta metro? Yes. But there are also A LOT of people in metro Atlanta and our population is increasing every year. We know to reach these people with the Gospel we are going to need more healthy churches that are preaching the Gospel, discipling people through engaging them in Biblical community, and sending people out to live on mission for the Kingdom.
Through the midst of much prayer and, preparation, we feel that God has specifically placed us in our community "for such a time as this" and that He has called us to start a new work here. We feel a true burden for our friends and neighbors. Time and time again the Lord has made it clear that THIS is the best way that our family can leverage our time, energy, and resources to make the greatest kingdom impact… so we’re all in and we hope you will join us!
GOSPEL-CENTERED
The gospel is the good news of Jesus. In a world of brokenness and struggle, Jesus brings healing, redemption, and restoration through His shed blood and resurrection. The gospel is found in the truth of the Bible, our authority for understanding God and ourselves.
COMMUNITY
Life wasn't meant to be lived alone. We need others in genuine authentic community. We have groups that meet on and off campus with an integration of age groups and life stages
MISSION
Hope Church exists to make and send disciples of Jesus.
