Sundays

We invite you to join us on Sundays at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m.

Come as you are

We're a community of real people. We have imperfect, messy lives, but we are pursuing and experiencing a transforming relationship with Jesus and with each other. Everybody is welcome here no matter your story, your questions, doubts, or struggles. We’re all about doing life together in community, being intentional about our growth as people, serving one another, and serving our local communities of Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Cumming, Milton, and beyond. We want to invite you to our Sunday Gathering at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. at 4250 McGinnis Ferry Rd. Alpharetta, GA 30005 to experience our community of Jesus-followers authentically engaging the God we love!

  • We offer special programming for children, from newborn up to fifth grade. We call this Hope Kids. If you are dropping your children off before the service, give yourself a few extra minutes to get them checked in properly using our easy computerized check-in system.

Classes are divided appropriately by age, and biblical truth is emphasized in an engaging, dynamic, practical, and fun way. Whether your children go to Hope Kids or choose to stay by your side, they are joyfully welcomed at Hope Church.

We take your kids' safety very seriously by doing full background checks on every single person serving with Hope Kids.

  • If you choose to drop off your children, after that come grab a fresh cup of coffee from our coffee bar and make your way to the sanctuary. Our connect team can answer questions, and we have some friendly, knowledgeable folks stationed at the welcome table who would love to meet you and can introduce you to others. You will notice an easy-going environment where people are dressed casually.

Most attendees wear jeans or business-casual clothing. If you arrive early, you’ll have no problem getting a seat of your choice. If you arrive a little late we can help direct you to an open spot.

  • Hope Church has been blessed with an incredible group of talented musicians and vocalists who serve our community each week by sharing their gifts. Our style of worship music could be described as contemporary. We sing newer songs as well as a number of older, beloved hymns with modern arrangements breathing new life into some of the best songs from the past. The quality and Christ-centered depth of our worship music is one of the defining aspects of our Sunday morning gatherings.

  • Our teaching time is focused on taking the deep truths of the Bible and explaining them in a manner that makes sense and can be applied with practical application today. Generally, we learn from exegetical sermons taught verse-by-verse through Scripture.

Expect our sermons to last roughly 35 minutes. Watch our past sermons here.

  • Every week we respond in worship in a few different ways. Those who consider Hope Church their home will be given the opportunity to worship with their finances by giving back a portion to God via the offering. You as a guest should feel no pressure to take part in this.

If you’d like to learn more about the financial side of Hope Church, you can do so here. If we are wrapping up a sermon series, Christ-followers will be invited to take part in communion. This really keeps us focused on the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection.

We’ll typically close the service with a song. Please don’t feel like you need to run out right away. Take some time to meet new people if you are ready for that. You will be invited to fill out a Connect Card, and one of our staff members will reach out to you and give you more information about Hope Church.
