Maximize for mission
Together, over the last four years, we have planted churches, baptized new believers, seen lives transformed by the gospel, hosted VBS, sent mission teams, and grown into a vibrant, healthy church in our community. As we look ahead, we believe God is calling us to faithfully steward the space He has already entrusted to us. With thoughtful planning, we see a clear path for our current facility to welcome more than 750 people on a Sunday morning in three specific areas, including our building, Next Gen, and missions.
Maximize Building
In just one year, God has grown Hope Church by 61%—from an average of 173 to 280 people each Sunday! Every number represents lives being changed, families worshiping together, and people finding hope in Jesus. With this growth, our space needs to grow with us. This fund will allow us to expand our seating in the sanctuary, family room, and parking lot.
The Maximize Fund is how we prepare for what God is doing next—expanding capacity, strengthening ministries, and investing in the future. Together, we can maximize our space so that we can more effectively “make and send disciples of Jesus Christ.”
Maximize Next Gen
One of the greatest blessings at Hope Church is the number of children and students God has entrusted to us. Every week, we see kids learning about Jesus, students building friendships rooted in faith, and families growing together in Christ. With our rapid growth, the need to maximize our Next Gen spaces has never been greater.
Through the Maximize Fund, we want to invest significantly in our Next Gen ministries—expanding on our Hope Kids spaces, strengthening Hope Students with staffing, supplies, and outreach, and launching a new summer internship program to raise up the next generation of ministry leaders.
Maximize Missions
From the very beginning, Hope Church has been committed to living with open hands—using what God has entrusted to us to bless others. That’s why a portion of the Maximize Fund will go directly toward church planting, new partnerships, and sending our people.
Why it matters: This fund isn’t just about building more seats or adding parking—it’s about building the Kingdom. As we maximize our space, we also maximize our sending capacity. When you give to the Maximize Fund, you’re helping more people hear the gospel—both here in Alpharetta and across the globe.
Funding Goal: $700,000
To maximize our space and expand our impact, our goal is to raise $700,000 over the next two years—above and beyond our regular budget.
This fund will allow us to address immediate needs, invest in the next generation, and extend our reach through missions. Importantly, we will not be taking on any debt. Each project will be completed as resources are given and available.
The Breakdown:
$465,000 – Building & Parking Updates - Expanding seating in the sanctuary, enlarging our gravel parking lot, and making essential facility updates so our space can continue serving a growing congregation.
$165,000 – Next Gen Ministries - Renovating and expanding our Family Room for kids and students, strengthening Hope Students through staffing, supplies, and outreach, and launching a new summer internship program to raise up the next generation of ministry leaders.
$70,000 – Missions - Investing generously in church planting, supporting mission partners, developing new partnerships, and creating opportunities for Hope Church members to engage in missions around the world.
What we are asking
As we step into this season of faith, we believe God will provide everything we need through His people. Our goal of raising $700,000 over the next two years may look big at first, but when we break it down, it becomes clear that it’s possible if each of us does our part. We are asking every partner and family at Hope Church to do three things:
1. Pray - Pray that God would continue to bless His church, open doors for the gospel, and provide the resources we need, ask God how He would have you personally participate in this vision.
2. Participate - We believe this goal can be reached with 120 giving units if everyone sacrifices together. Here’s one way it can happen:

2 gifts of $50,000
5 gifts of $25,000
10 gifts of $15,000
20 gifts of $10,000
30 gifts of $5,000
52 gifts of $2,500
Over two years, these gifts combine to reach our $700,000 goal. For some, this could mean a larger one-time gift; for others, it will mean consistent giving month by month. Our prayer is that everyone who loves Hope Church will participate with us.
3. Invite - This vision is about more than money. As God grows our church, we want to keep inviting people to experience the hope of Jesus. Every new chair, every parking spot, every kids’ room, and every mission dollar represents another person who can be reached with the gospel.
